First Ten Books I Reviewed: Top Ten Tuesday

When I saw this weeks Top Ten Tuesday topic, I knew that I had to do it! Sometimes, I find myself thinking about how much my reviews have changed over the last two-plus years, and the intriguing thing is that my review format even changed within the first ten reviews I wrote.

Read on for my answers (ordered from first review ever to 10th review) to this Tuesday’s prompt! Click on the book titles, if you want to check out my old reviews.

1. Zahra the Windseeker – Nnedi Okorafor-Mbachu

2. Does My Head Look Big in This? – Randa Abdel-Fattah

3. If I Was Your Girl – Meredith Russo

4. eingeschrieben – Emily Ngubia Kuria

5. One Last Song – S. K. Falls (I only realised a few months ago, that this was Sandhya Menon’s pseudonym!)

6. Anusha of Prospect Corner – A. M. Blair, Maram Ken and Samira Ken

7. To Find You – Cerece Rennie Murphy

8. Fire Boy – Sami Shah

9. Huntress – Malinda Lo

10. Saree – Su Dharmapala (this is still one of my favourite books of all time!)

What were some of your first book reviews? How has your reviewing style changed?

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish. It is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
